What it is

A request body is the data a client sends with a request, typically JSON for a POST. The server parses and validates it before acting.

In the Credicorp API

On the public ring, enquiries and consent take a JSON body with a Content-Type: application/json header. GET endpoints take no body. Keep bodies within the documented size limits (an enquiry’s fields must be ≤16 KiB).

Frequently asked questions

Do GET endpoints take a request body?

No. The public GET endpoints — loyalty tiers, CMS pages, billers — take no body. Only the POST endpoints (enquiries, consent, support chat, MCP) carry one.
