What it is
The internal ring is the authenticated tier of the Credicorp API, served under /internal/v1. Unlike the public ring, it requires an authenticated actor and carries the sensitive operations — reading a specific customer’s account, offers, notifications, payments and profile changes.
Why it matters to you
The internal ring is not part of a public integration. It is far more generously rate limited (around 600 requests per 60 seconds per actor) precisely because callers are known and trusted. If your integration needs anything the public ring does not offer, you are looking at the internal ring or the partner API — see moving to the partner API.
Frequently asked questions
Can I call the internal ring from a public integration?
No. It requires an authenticated actor. Public integrations use the public ring; account-level work uses the partner/authenticated surface.
